Thanks for the info!

Maybe, since there is one server worldwide, you can add a world time link to future announcements, like this:

3 am PST 30th january 2010

weekly maintenance is fine as long as its the same day and same time, but its only been 1 day and already theres a 2 hour maintenance, then prob another one the next day then the next then the next and so on and so on.

Not filling me with much hope.

Not sure how often Champions Online is down for maintenance, but I would guess it would be sort of the same for STO.

Ofcourse, EVE does daily maintenance and no one complains

In eve you spend most of your time logged out gaining skills in an absurd attempt to catch up to the people that have been playing since launch. I guess there used to not playing a game so maintenance is no problem for them.

Wow, you are ....... wait wait you have to be a Troll, because if you're not then maybe you should go get a CAT scan. I'm not the only one with the problem. I played the Open Beta no problem. I unistalled, reinstalled, and repatched today after it wouldn't work for the first hour. I defragged, checked for updated drivers, and streamed a HD movie while I wait for STO be fixed, but maybe you are right. It can't be on Cryptic's end must have forgot something, me and the other 50+ people having the same problem.
