There is a bug with the quest line involving 10 provisions. It doesn't tell me what I need to get and a clue as to where to get them.

Provisions are just that ... Provisions. You can find them at Earth Spacedock ... there is a dealer there that sells commodities.

It is funny that just because the mission wording doesn't spoonfeed you it is defined "a bug"

Head out to the sector space, fly to some federation transport..buy the supplies...go back to delta volanis and continue the mission (should be button on the right side of the screen). Be advised tho, that 1 medical supply costs 100 credits :-)

I look at the mission text and the only thing shown was [missing text]. I guess I'm used to a more thorough explanation of quests.

I remembered this from Beta, so before i left Sol i picked up 10 provisions and 10 medical supplies (wiped out my energy credits like...) just in case.
First mission i got in Delta was "We need provisions!"

Fortunate favors the bold, and apparently the prepared...
