Whenever I attempt to log in via no proxy, I get stuck at retrieving list of maps. Using the US proxy brings no response whatsoever. Using the EU proxy, I am able to log in but with constant disconnection and very long re-login attempts. Connection was fine before the last patch.

Same exact issue as you. Finally glad to know I'm not alone in this odd problem

I buy from a local Tier 3 internet company which buys from a tier 2 ISP which buys from a Tier 1 ISP.

ISP: (Tier 3) USA Companies ---> Charter (tier 2) ----> AT&T (Tier1)

Type: Wireless Antenna mounted on the roof aimed at the ISP office in town

Same prob..if i'm not stuck at retrieving list of characters..its this...had the game 2 days now..am yet to actually PLAY IT!!! grrrrrrrrr

Almost same issue, get stuck as retrieving character screen.
