I've seen different answers...which is confusing in of itself, it should be pretty straightforward. Look at the damage for the weapon in the ability list for slotting - add the Core - what's the increase? Are you looking at +9.9%, +13.2%, etc, etc, etc? Or are you looking at a smaller amount that suggests it's pre-Weapon Power?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...trying to settle another discussion regarding the use of the 2pc AP (which is post-Weapon Power)...

Concurrent - it is "not a final multiplier", in the forum parlance. The weapon power damage and the AMP damage are the same type of damage boost.

I knew it, because if there was a warp core for +5 to weapons. Everyone would get it. This way a choice can be made....very clever

So it's (for me) usually a case of looking at something either pre- or post- Weapon Power...meaning that it's along the lines of an APO/EPtW if it's post- or it's like a Tac Console if it's pre-...

Like the 2pc Obelisk has the +10% that's post-...it's like a +10% APO; while with the 2pc Jem's +7.6%, that's pre-...it's like a +7.6% Tac Console. 2pc KHG is like a +25% Tac Console. 2pc T'varo is like a +10% APO. Etc, etc, etc.

So...correct me if I'm wrong in reading what you're saying as the following then (using a very simple example):

It's NOT...

Base 100
9 Weapon Training: + (100 * 0.495) = 149.5
AMPx1: + (100 * 0.033) = 152.8
@125 Weapon Power: * 2.5 = 382

It's NOT...

Base: 100
9 Weapon Training: + (100 * 0.495) = 149.5
@125 Weapon Power: * 2.5 = 373.75
AMPx1: * 1.033) = 386.08375


It's...

Base: 100
9 Weapon Training: + (100 * 0.495) = 149.5
@125 Weapon Power + AMPx1: *2.533 = 378.6835


Okay, perhaps that was too simple an example. Let me try again, just to make sure...

It's NOT...

Base: 174
9 Weapon Training: + 86.13 = 260.13
9 Energy Weapons: + 86.13 = 346.26
Omega Weapon Training: + 26.1 = 372.36
VR: + 13.05 = 385.41
Mk XII: + 208.8 = 594.21
4x VR Mk XII Consoles: + 208.8 = 803.01
AMPx4: + 22.968 = 825.978
@125 Weapon Power: * 2.5 = 2064.945

It's NOT...

Base: 174
9 Weapon Training: + 86.13 = 260.13
9 Energy Weapons: + 86.13 = 346.26
Omega Weapon Training: + 26.1 = 372.36
VR: + 13.05 = 385.41

So with the "concurrent", you're adding whatever you're getting from AMP to the Weapon Power Calculation in that sense?

K, yeah, I dun goofed. AMP is the same type of modifier that Starship Weapons Training is - so it factors in a different place than Weapon Power does. Weapon power is a multiplier outside of everything else, as you know.

for someone running AP DHCs and Turrets, is it worth dropping a turret and the AMP fleet core for the 2 piece bonus or not?

Because I have been considering it, but i find the loss of the AMP mod potentially dubious since i run all 4 subs at 75+
