it would be nice to have someone fill us in, but i'm sure they're just too busy trying to fix the problem.

and that's not true. some people who have preordered and are using a preorder or beta key to play headstart still have the option to cancel the preorder and not pay for the retail game.

Actually the last Open Beta weekend was a DISASTER. On that weekend, the servers crashed 5 times for an hour or more (often 2-3 hours) from Friday to Sunday morning. Think it was down another 4-5 hours on Sunday.

It was way worse.

Unfortunately, the privilege of testing excuse expired Tuesday.

Now i could state the obvious but.......... well ok I will. Headstart has far more people playing because now you can actually level up and means something. Cryptic could tell us how many people are playing and I'm sure we'd be amazing by how many 100's of thousands actually purchased STO

I just hope they get this resolved soon. I know there's probably a boat-load of people playing now due to the head-start but imagine launch day, or, even launch week how bad those server's are gonna get slammed.

no one is paying for headstart. are you people numb!?

headstart is 4 free days. your subscriptions don't start until the 2nd and the full retail game doesn't come out until the 2nd. so you're not paying for this 4 day headstart.

I will admit after being in a more than a few beta tests and then going live and playing that this is just par for the course.. but I am quite dissapointed that we have yet to get 1 full 24 hours period without a crash in the last 2-3 weeks counting beta. That in itself makes me quite concerned since it seems they arent pulling the game down to work on it as much as it is just crashing in thier face.
