I'm looking to make a romulan char for pvp, but i'm not very familiar with the current mechanics of the singularity core. I saw romulans that are able of jump every 6-10 seconds, or with incredible fast charge rates.

What is people using? dhelan console? t'varo console? both? singA or singC core? Doffs?

The doff is the Warp Core Engineer.

Chance to reduce Singularity Lockout with Emergency Power abilities
That one is very powerful since most spam EPTX abilities.

There is a Energy Weapon and Projectile doff that increases the charge of the core. There is also a trait Singularity Specialist that can proc a charge increase in the core.
My Romulan Liberated Borg character made it to Level 30 and beat the (old) Defense of New Romulus with the skill point bug.

Singularity Stabilizer (T'liss/T'varo Refit T1): 0.5s activation, 3m CD, re-enables Singularity power meter, gain 2 Singularity Charge every second for 15s

Singularity Core mods...

[SingA] - increases charge rate by 20%
[SingC] - reduces CD on Singularity Power use by 10%
[CON] - 1% chance when hit with energy weapons to grant a Singularity Level/Pip

The following is for Purps...

EWO DOFF: +5% Singularity Charge rate in combat (does not stack with +chargerates)
PWO DOFF: 8% chance for +10 Singularity Charge when attacking with Torps (won't activate while the meter is locked nor while using Singularity Overcharge)
WCE DOFF: 25% chance to reduce lockout duration by 15s on use of an EPtX ability
GS DOFF: while cloaked, 25% reduction to Singularity Decay

Trait - Singularity Specialist: ??% chance (variable, scales down with higher Singularity Levels/Pips) to build a Singularity Level/Pip while attacking.

SingC reduces the lockdown in 5seconds (from 40 to 35), but the individual power coldown is still on 30, if i apply the WCE doff it will bring down the lockdown to 20seconds, but the individual power coldown will be still 30seconds right? so i wont be able of jump more than once every 30seconds?

The t'varo console, removes the sing. lockdown and the individual power coldown? that console allow me to jump twice in a row?

No, it only removes the Singularity Charge lockout. The CD on the ability used will remain, you'll just be able to build charge to use another ability in the interim or use that ability once the CD expires at an already higher level.

I use the console so I can do a Singularity Jump and have a Warp Shadows available pretty soon after the Jump for somebody being persistent in trying to hunt me down. The Warp Shadows does provide a jump, but it's not a Singularity Jump. It's a random bounce while dropping out a fake ship.

Are they doing something like that? Or are they perhaps using an actual Jump console?

No you won't be able to jump twice in a row... best you can do really is use the Tvaro console and I think with the Singc you can do it around every 15-20s... You do have to rebuild sing charge so there is a bit of delay even with a good cool down.

However I can't really think of why you would want to jump twice in a row... you do have other sing powers though. I never not use the lowbie Tvaro console. If your just trying to not die you can jump and absorb almost back to back.

The reason is simple, 2 jumps = 10km away. Anyway i'm just trying to figure out what i can and what i can't do with the sing core.

Nope. Creates 1-5 fake ships that last for 15s. After 19.5s (per the tooltip), you get +6000 Stealth for 5s.

Quantum Singularity Manipulation though...after 3s will cloak you for 5s. Mix in the Battle Cloak, say the T4 Rom passive Sensor Targeting Assault, the KHG Shields, etc, etc, etc - it can help you blip about and avoid most of the non-persistent team efforts to tackle you.

Thing to keep in mind about both the Singularity Jump and Warp Shadows...if they've got you with something that prevents teleporting, you're not going anywhere. So you should try to get out of that first before trying to bounce...

As an aside, I normally do not listen to music while PvPing (I like to listen for the sounds of folks buffing) - but if I'm dorking around and don't really care, it's fun to listen to Brooklyn Bounce - Get Ready to Bounce ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfGkKSYJv_4 ) while bouncing and blipping about.

Tractors appear to break both - as in both do not break Tractors. Could be a bug, mind you.
