the cpu is around less then 20% by this process even under heavy game load. triple monitor. setup

now if I delete my combat.log

and then type /combatlog 1

my game stops in its tracks, its like I am playing on a p1 233mhz 128 megs ram.

if I can type /combat log 0 IF the affect stops

normally I have to kill the client and restart

but I want the data in combat log to play with and monitor any ideas.

system is clean. and checked every 24 hours. been programming pc's for over 30 years.

Are you running any combat parsers? The reason I ask is because Combatlog Reader is quite the resource hog, Advance Combat Tracker isn't quite as bad, but both put some extra demand on your memory resources during their recording sessions.

If you have come to the forums to complain about the AFK penalty, than it is WAI.
