Okay, so in a very well written Aux to Battery thread I saw the following

I'm assuming the ignorance here is my own, but this person seems to have either equipped 4 space Doffs or maybe just switched from discussing one build to another in the space of a paragraph.

Is there any way to equip 4 space doffs concurrently?

edit: Logs into game, actually goes to active duty DOFF screen, gets really embarassed, comes back here to make an edit. Nothing to see here folks, just a guy who's had too little sleep.

For me I cant get multiple of the same types of DOFFs to go on active duty. So it says 3 Tech doffs. (in your example)

I put in the first one everything else is fine.

Second one, I get an error message that says "You can only have one of that type doff on active duty." (Paraphrasing)

So How do people get more than one type of doff active? Thats what I want to know.

May the Prophets guide us in these cryptic times....

Each different type of doff has a different limit, from 1 to 3, and that limit is shared with different roster powers (in some cases even between space and ground if a particular specialization has powers for both regions).

It depends on the type of the doffi. You can only slot one Warfare specialist or Warp core engineer, but you can slot up to 3 Technicians or damage control engineer.

So some doffs can only be slotted 1 time, but others up to 3 times.
