Nope. we just don't get hung up on the in game equivalent of what could be found at the bottom of a cracker jack box. Now if you want to talk server stability. Sure. There might be a legit complaint there. But this. Meh. trivial.

This is frickin 2010. they have new ways to grab your money. to sum up. if it costs more than retail box, yup its a paid feature. call it a bonus, gift or whatever just make you kids less likely to rage over it when they fail to deliver..
They haven't failed to deliver anything but the WoK uniforms and some people's Del Taco codes. The preorder bonuses won't be given out until we have our retail keys and add them to our accounts, which won't be until 2/2 at the earliest.

A: No. The exclusives are tied to the retail product, not to the preorder key. In other words, you’ll need to purchase the full version of the game and input that key.

I've been aware that I wasn't going to get my preorder constitution for head start since December. I thought this was common knowledge.

There's a difference between them failing to tell you and you failing to read what they tell you (see 5th question down).

Complaining about not knowing that things would be exactly as they advertised them kind of makes you look a little bit like a moron.

Its statements like that ruining the moment, assume what you feel you need to. There isnt a vendor (i checked before making this thread) out there that has the preorder stated as cryptic has in its faq.

We are all well aware of the pertinent and accurate information on cryptics website update regularly (sarcasm) as it has been pointed out before many times, it needs to be fixed.

So whom do you trust when you order something the vendor providing the newest info or product when sales begin or a faq that is "months old"

I prefer the screw up theory, as it tracks with most of the happenings in this MMO and its launch.

As explained by a handful of people allready:
If you are not well versed in the art of reading... and understanding the text you read, you will be getting suprises here and there during your life.

That's the bottomline problem with people and preorder faqs.
I can symphatize with peoples wish and in some cases displaced need for bonuses and trinkets be available in headstart, but unless your retailer really charges you from your copy, it would be bad business to give access to those items. Not that this could not been circumvented, but thats another story.

Preorder faq been up for ages, problem is that there is too many people that expect/think things go in way they thought it to go. Without really reading faqs/checking how they have been planned and intended to work. It is not really wise to expect things, you need to make SURE how things go in general on all avenues of life.

Here is a thought if you are truly unsatisfied with the game don't play it. Star Trek is not a fly by night adventure to most of us who grew up hoping to catch the show on our uhf dials in our childhood. lol There are problems with every game at start, live with it. The bonuses are just that, I can wait a bit to make a borg. I am lifer so got plenty of time to explore the unknown, who knows, maybe by just sitting back and watching the game unfold we will get a cool new contraption. I am impressed with the changes they have made for those of us that are physically challenged and I give the game a thumbs up so far . oh, I did want borg, but I paid for the life so I would not have monthly payments to worry about, would have done it if there were no bonuses.

Apparently cryptic feels that those ordering and paying extra cash need no explanations for their screw up nor do they need to fix this problem. Instead they type a small post with another announcement that simply states pro order items will be available launch day, after the heaqdstart.

Your business practices are ignorant cryptic.
You really do need to learn how to read. Devs has stated numerous times that the pre-order bonuses are tied to the retail keys. Retailers aren't going to give you the keys for the items till the 2nd. Blame cryptic if you want but you can't say they haven't mentioned it.

After 5 pages of explanation if you still can't understand then i don't think there is any point repeating the same replies. Just don't make assumptions about others and call them fools when they tell you facts. Makes you look like a hypocrite.
