Through the many years that this game will be running there will undoubtedly be unexpected downtime, server crashes and the like.
It's unconceivable that MMO servers from any game will be up 100% of the time. Yes this is a "head start" period before the game is officially released, however that does not mean there will not be any downtime.
If anyone expects 100% up time during "head start" or during the many years of its operation is frankly foolish. This is a game just have fun.
yeah people just have no life, and they have nothing else to do but complain that they cant play right now.
Its hardly a problem, anyone in there right mind has to expect bumps during the first month of a release.
If after a month the server is goin down every 2 days well thats a different story.
I agree with your point, except for ONE THING! It's "inconceivable" not "unconceivable"...
In all seriousness though, it's good to see that there are people with a realistic understanding and expectation that servers for a newly "live" game are not infalable. Also take into consideration that the game hasn't even fulled launched yet and this is just the early-play period. So, take it easy, and you can be assured that Cryptic is doing their best to get things back online and stable... It's their bread and butter, they're not doing it just to make us angry for the fun of it.
