A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I hate paying bills even if they are only like 14$ the less the better, It is cheaper than 2 years @ regular price, I get extra character slots, lib Borg, and they are not offering it after Feb 1st. By simply buying the lifetime and the pre-orders we as gamers are ensuring that Cryptic sees this though or they are finished....that goes for Atari as well

I agree 100%!
More seasoned MMO players know this and will benefit and get the most out of this game.
yea I just read the price of the lifetime sub. almost 300 bucks. I like this game so far but no way im gonna toss in 300 bucks at the get go here. Thats just absurd and not logical. Just to play as a borg really? Come down in price for having the choice to play a borg or make some sort of hard epic type mission to unlock the character. lol
Seriously. Only a damned fool would buy a lifetime subscription at this time.
Yes Cryptic. PAY ATTENTION cuz this exactly how I feel. We're if not for how correct those that note you should post your, "Unexpected UP Times" you are taking a game that is fun enough that it would otherwise garner a lot of leeway from players/subscribers for you to fix minor issues but for the millionth time, a game that can't be played is WORTHLESS no matter how good it is.
I gave y'all kudos for what seemed like a big jump in stability during the last few days of the open beta and figured I would probably do lifetime so long as the head start showed reasonable continuity in that trend. Clearly it is a good thing I waited cuz you will get nothing from me for this kinda performance.

How does buying a lifetime ensure they see this through? They have your money, they don't care about you any more. You act as though they owe you something, but nowhere did it guarantee you that the game would still be running in a year, or 6 months or hell even next month. You paid 239 bucks for a borg playable character.
Also it's yet to be seen what's happening with micro transactions, you might wish you hadn't spent the money then ("in-game playable Borg, $4.99").
I agree with the OP, you'd have to be a few fries short of a happy meal to buy the lifetime without playing the game for a few months first.
