Does Science Team and Engineering Team share a cool down or are they on two separate timers. If they do share a cool-down, does science team and EPtS share a cool-down? Just trying to do some planning and I always have a difficult time coming up with Engineering powers, since I usually concentrate more on Science and Tactical.
I currently have emergency shields and science team up and I can use them both. It's pretty nice.
only those two heal shields, none repair hull.
engineering team does a good hull repair.
So if you're looking for a combo shield/hull heal, then go with the two teams (sci and eng, you seldom need both those repairs at the same time, and even so the CD isn't that bad, it's a "Crew system CD", not a "skill CD" actually).
Or use science team + Hazard Emitters (excellent hull repair + resistance over time) if you have 2 science slots.
ER Power to shields is overrated if you're not engineer yourself or fyling in a cruiser to stack more energy/power management skills. on an escort/science vessel, you need quick result, and teams or Hazard Emitters is the way to go.
