I was just wondering if Cryptic will provide the players some sort of compensation for prolonged downtime. A few other studios in the past have been kind enough to ensure their player base is sufficiently reimbursed for server outages that total a significant amount of time and this recent outage made me curious if cryptic does something similar.
This is, of course, outside of regularly scheduled server downtime, the beta/headstart event, and doesn't include the usual hiccups here and there.
Or if someone has been involved in such a situation with any of cryptics previous titles, please share what happened (again, actual live outages only please).
And if someone from cryptic could address the issue (on top of the million other tasks you devs are doing) the community would greatly appreciate it.
PS: I know crunch time sucks so hang in there guys! You're doing a great job!
haha thanks guys, but not quite what I'm getting at. I know the fine print states that they don't have to do anything and I understand the actual amount of money is nominal. Regardless, some studios do add extra free time to active player accounts and im just wondering if anyone knows if cryptic is one such studio.
