Wow they still haven't noticed it. STO is a social game and not being able to meet up right away is a big deterent to socializing.

That and not being able to easily know our channel before first switching and noting it.

Oh and thanks for the bumps, guys. Speaking of which, gotta get this up before I sleep.

Is it just me or anybody else notice dev responses in Controls & UI are nonexistant? All we ask is when they're planning to bring the checkbox back, and the status of the invisibility bugfix.

/signed, why would they remove it in the first place?
To force you into a Deep Space Encounter.

That's my take on it, anyways.

Bump before bed.

Itanius supposedly it was also to hide the existance of the invisible/invulnerable bug if you canceled changing instances. How hard is it to fix that bug, really? STO was programmed to poof the player before actually zoning, not after. CO properly waits for you to choose an instance THEN fades your character out of existence. I don't mean to sound rude to Crypic, but how hard is it to copy and paste working code from their CO department? They have a working copy somewhere already.

Deep Space should just autozone you like now (Otherwise if you cancel I'm sure it would bug and keep asking you to zone since you're on top of it), but if they would just fix the fadeout timing to work like CO there would be no inconvenience to players.

I wasn't aware of a bug there, but it makes sense as another reason for removing the option altogether.
