I never thought I would ask for it but yeah the game could do wih a death penalty. Maybe sone stat damage to systems / weaps / hull that needs returning to a starbase to repair.

While we're talking about it howabout giving the (very) underpowered MOBs a bit of a tweak. As it is right now I don't feel there's any real danger or risk to over extending myself and taking on way more MOBs than I can handle.

No there will not be. Too late for them to add one now even though it is needed. This game is going to cater to the what i call "to causal mmo player".

And it is bad bad bad that they do not penalize dum gameplay other than "o dam i blew up again, respwn time" that is it type game play...

If nothing else keep increasing the rspawn timer to insane times . Heck I use the no death penalty to my advantage, charge in take as many as you can rinse and repeat.

I am also bothered at the fact, ships systems and weapons still function even at 1% hull integrity. You are either 100% combat effeciant in game or dead. Nothing inbetween. That goes for you AND the enemies. What ever happened to crippling your enemy or surrender or knocking out specific systems? Now it is kill or be killed, ask questions later (or not).

Your systems, sheilds, and even crew magiclly regenerate with ZERO cost or effort on your part. Simply stay out of combat long enough and yoou are magically fixed! Hell, why even have an Engineer on board?

Definitely needs to be some Risk vs Reward built in... there's absolutely no risk at the moment for anything...
