Is it broke?

It says,

"Upgrades your next torpedo attack. Fires a pattern of several torpedoes, dealing moderated AoE damage."

I've not seen one yet despite dozens of tries. I even had a stationary object to hit and lined up within the firing arc and yet when I use this. I get the old car engine that won't start noise.

Anyone else have the same?

When I was playing earlier it was working for me.

I never had any problems with it.

It works but I find it rather useless.

Might be a silly question but...

do you have a torpedo launcher equipped?

Have you activated it by pressing the button? Is the BO with that skill assigned to a station on your ship?

Yeah it's all equipped. I even have my tactical officer train to 9 in it.

I think I agree it's a waste of time.
