# 1 remove crits from AOE attacks
11-22-2013, 08:53 AM
The accidental change that removed crits from FAW and Torp Spread (and which has since been declared to be a bug) seems like a very good fix for some of the OP setups. I propose that this change be adopted as a feature for all AOE attacks. Anything that affects multiple targets should not crit. Period. BFAW, CSV, TS, GW/TR/TBR whatever. You should only ever crit when using a single-target attack.

I use bfaw/csv/crf/torpsprd and I have seen crits quite often, don't know where you have been playing, but it seems fine to me.
[Combat (Self)] Your Lunge deals 3252 (1916) Physical Damage(Critical) to Heavy Tactical Drone.
If you have come to the forums, to complain about the AFK penalty, than it is WAI.

I agree the "Bug" should stay for beam FAW. My Monbosh battleship turned 12 cruiser class NPC's into dust in 8 seconds, via APB II + BFAW II + EPTW III + DEM III. Instant dust to any NPC ship that's not a boss, or cube.

I'm sorry, but I think it is a dumb idea to remove criticals from anything.

In fact, heals should do critical hits too, like in any other mmo.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

Agreed highly, but this is only hoping.
