Is it me,or do none of the feddybears seem to be taking any notice of the info/tips/insights we keep handing out?

btw 5 escorts vs 5 bop, escorts probably gonna die, 2 escorts 2 sci and a cruiser - and we're having a bad day.

Champions Online already had the answer: stalemate.

If a match goes too long without either side getting a point, it ends. Not sure how they worked out the rewards but I do agree that if one team starts avoiding the other, the match should eventually time out.

Feds can do it to, to some extent, with things like MES (when it worked), Jam Sensors and generally running around the hinterlands of the map with Full Impulse.

I realize that. That's fine. I just want the 5 escort battles to NOT take a half hour 'cuz Klingons won't attack at all.

I think this is reasonable. However, I think it should be "2 minutes after every enemy teammember cloaked", so if someone uncloaks they reset the timer.

Personally I hate the infinite games that cloak can bring. We've already had it used against us by Outcasts as a way to grief.

Cloak is fine as it is, maybe its "decloaking" effect could be boosted a bit (yes im a FED and i say that)...its flawed scenarios/objectives wich create such situations...

Problem with this is that they could then have one player fly way out of sensor/weapon range, uncloak, and immediately recloak to reset the timer.

Eh, that would make a pretty simple loophole.

My problem is back during CB, 80% of deathmatches the klingons had half their team already in matches and you would have to wait several minutes for your team to fill up because of the timers counting down for those already in a match. (they cant cancel what they cant see)

Hiding in cloak was standard practice for waiting for even teams.

Then your friends were fighting, and the timer would not have started.

How about this... when all klingons are cloaked, a timer starts. When one klingon is decloaked, the timer stops. Then a fight is started between feds n klingons, the timer is reset. Every minute after the first two minutes results in 1 point for federation.

I think the bigger issue is the lack of a good cloak detection ability at T1. This was something everyone (Klink and Fed alike) decried Cryptic for in CB and they basically just tweaked the Klink cloak (removed battle cloak from the T1 BoP) and washed their hands of it.

Of course, the IDEAL solution is to replace Deathmatch maps with objective oriented maps.

Then it doesn't matter if the other team doesn't want to fight. Your team accomplished the objectives, wins and goes home.
