Aside from the unfortunate circumstances of server issues, I have been enjoying the majority of this game.
What I really cannot stand, however, are the unending away missions. These are often extremely tedious, and reap little reward. I know that some people love them, and so I would never suggest they should be removed. That you can do them at all is, I think, one of the best concepts in the game, and a great opportunity to be had (for people who are interested). What I would love to see is for the option to exist to not take ground missions. Even if all it involves is labelling missions as either Space, Ground, or both? That way, I can choose to not take the ones with a ground component.
Also, a little rant along the lines of PVP, it was said repeatedly during development that players could choose to pursue a PVP or PVE course of advancement. Essentially, that either one would be a viable option for gaining experience and improving your characters. However, I have noticed the rewards for PVP are significantly lower than for missions. And, there are no material rewards, no items/BOffs/etc. What happened to the equality of experience? 99% of my time in game, I am completely uninterested in missions and just want to do PVP, but I know I'll "never" get to Lt. Cmdr. if I only do PVP. Can this be balanced, and how?
