Some will leave, yes, as I said... post-release die off is natural. I've played many MMO's and this has been a part of every one of them at some point or another (usually release and major expansions). I'm not saying I'd like it to be an everyday thing, but I'm also not going to go into a spastic rage because of it.
Huh, **** had quite a smooth launch, of the 8 mmo's I have played it was the most polished, of course it had been out in korea for a year but still, bad example.
Worst launches, vanguard, *** and I already mentioned crimecraft, I have not checked I kinda doubt crimecraft is even around now lol. They got so desperate they had in game gm's in their own "gang" playing beside the uh, 100 ppl that were still playing the game ><
*** and vanguard both actually had a lot of ppl on..for the first month >< fixes did not come fast enough, now they are both decent games but too late, no players left to play them.
I also played auto assault, it did not really have much of a launch, no advertising at all, never got a very big player base, and they apparently did not make enough $ to work on it enough. I still played it till the server went down, it was fun despite huge balance issues.
People complain, mmo's always have issues early on, the ones that fail are the ones that started way too early and can't crank patches out fast enough. I already got lifetime so I RLY hope to see a bunch of patches..this server prob does suk though.
