I know they cost a massive amount of money to both buy, maintain and run... but I'm wondering if more servers are being ordered...
Star Trek just happens to be an insanely popular franchise apparantly. It would be a shame to betray it's full potential merely because there isn't enough funding to buy new servers.
I'm sure the lifetime subscribers covered the cost of a new shard..
If worst comes to worst, I think ya boyz need to Cannibalize the Champions Online shards =P

I heard you can have new server hardware ordered and installed in 48 hours. not sure what their doing at cryptic, mabe they made a really big order or something.

Oh where did you hear this?
Which size did the project have?
In which way do you use the server?
Oh which operating system does the server use?
Which kind of databank?
What I mean is getting a server to run can be an evil thing.
