So When you lose a starship, will there be a court marshal? I mean I cant imagine Starfleet being to happy that you blew up the Bozeman IV

I agree! i want to know what happens to your ship when you beam down. Realistically it would be vulnerable to attack if you were going for the true game experience.

I'd like to think if you're off ship then one of your bridge officers takes control, and the ship is run by AI at that point.

I'm pretty stoked about this release, but there is no definite information regarding all platforms that I can find at this point. Ideally I would like to play on my Mac, but wouldn't mind playing on the PS3 either.

Curious if anyone knows if this will be Mac compatible?

Will we see any traditional pets or animals in the game? Will the exocomps be included as part of the crew?

So far according to jack at release it will be pc only.

Ok I read that we will be able to make use of transwarp conduits and worm holes. This brings a few questions to mind:

1) Have you considered slipstream drive?

2) Does this mean we get to traverse the Delta Quadrant?

3) Will we get to see Species 8472?

I am a huge star trek fan well versed in all the series and movies, but I have never gotten into a MMO game, am I going to like this game? Will our ships have run ins with the "Q" if so to what extent? I'm wondering about ship classes, in 80 years time there has to be new ships and designs? the galaxy class star ship would seem a relic 80 years down the road? Even a soverign class ship would be getting moth balled? I'm willing to make this my first real MMO experience I just hope it live up to the hype

not to be utterly a smart rear but are not the ships of the federation already classified anyway? The enterprise was a battleship, while the defiant I believe was a destroyer, and I never cared what the voyager was. There are a few science ships in the varied series as well as research vessels and so on. Though every ship seemed to be outfitted to do science and research as well as combat. I guess my point is why not just go with the already set classifications?
