Could someone please tell me what it is, accounting for skills, consoles, energy levels, etc?

Dps is already well documented.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=dps+calculator+...rfectworld.com

If you look though the first couple of links you will find a google doc with the equations built in

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByHR...pORFpqQWc/edit

From there you can adjust things on the spread sheet based on your space stats like the +30 to weapons training for the omega rep.

Thing is, I don't want a spreadsheet or app to calculate it for me. I want to know the actual formula. I want to tinker with it.

Excel is algebra. If you look at the cell you can look at it and it will tell you the formula.

If you are looking for a simple fomula there is non due to the number of factors. even a characters level impacts dps which is why when you take a character and match some one elses level your dps changes even though all your gear and skill tree is the same. At lease with a spread sheet you can see all the fomulas and how they interact.

Also the devs do not give out the direct formulas. they may have at one time but that was under the old skill tree. all data we have is reversed engineer by what we observe. The math is in there just look.

Here is the correct formula

Push button, something takes damage

Hope that helps.
Vice Admiral Rylana - U.S.S. DNT Omega X || Vice Admiral Lyzara - I.R.W. DNT Omicron X
Vice Admiral Kailiana - R.R.W. DNT Theta X || Vice Admiral Talina - I.R.W. DNT Tau X
Vice Admiral Victoria - U.S.S. DNT Upsilon X || Lt. General Dannika - I.K.S. DNT Sigma X
Vice Admiral Shondra - R.R.W. DNT Alpha X || Lt. General Rosanna - I.K.S. DNT Iota X

Here are some decent explanations:

The original thread in which the math was reversed engineered is here:

The first post in the above thread may not be exactly right, so you should read the whole thread.

Those are definitely good sources to start but I think it is worth mentioning that those are also a bit out of date at this point.

To the op, remember that these are assuming 9 points in skill tree bringing totals to 99. Unbuffed this isn't entirely true.

The nukara rep, doffs and even traits can effect these base stats to some really crazy numbers. Here are how these numbers look when I buff up. In this case inspiration leader was triggered once. it can stack up to 3 times. that is an additional 20 across the board. I have 3 conn officers that that makes my attack patterns to get an addition 30 points in the tree. ApA is no longer 50% damage. there is also a battery doff that makes my weapons battery do 10% damage

The 2 peice obelisk set also adds 10% after but the plasma embassy consoles and plasma conductive circuitry is before.

While when it is all active and adds a lot dps it does not take into account crt rates. Those numbers will go up once I get the lor consoles from the spire.

Once you have that there is a questions of which modifiers are better at that point since crtd/h and acc are not in that final dps mix. Some one even made a website just on weapon mods. There are even power level calculators and charts on reduced damage for distance per weapons type.

This math is guidelines. Now days it is more practical to run a mission a few times with a parser. Just keep in mind that if you use the ise standard that the borg barely move making crtd/h more preferential then acc due to low bonus defense.

lets see if I can remember how it goes...
(I'll use a beam array)

=(100+(L*10.2)+(R*(B*0.025))+(D*(B*0.05))+(B*(((WT +EW)/2)/100))+(B*(C*Number of consoles)))*(P*0.02)

B= Base
L= Mk (level)
R = Rarity
D= Dmg mods
WT= Weapon training
EW= Energy weapons
C= Console buff
P= Power

That should work for you.
