Well our good Captain DStahl is leaving soon, shame really, I think we will really feel the loss of his impact in STO and his communication effort to the community.

Loved him getting involved and replying to folks on the forums on alsorts of topics, really good to see that from Devs; shows they care alot more than just handing out Dev statements and diaries or what not.

He really made STO more personal and exciting for folks I think.

We will miss you Dan

His continued posting under a yellow tag could have fooled me. :p

Sad news re: Dan, but yes - a rather suspect departure. I wouldn't be surprised if Perfect World's management wanted to make decisions that just didn't sit well with him ... or as I've experienced - an invitation to change roles. In my position, I politely declined and left with my dignity intact

sdangelo will be taking the reigns until they find a permanent replacement. He's had a great deal of involvement with STO since it's inception as a lead designer, and definitely knows his Trek.
