# 1 Kit secondary abilities

I notice some kits have secondary abilities, for instance Vascular Regenerator lists Medical Tricorder 1 on the same info sheet, do both of these fire when you use it or do you have to do something to access the Tricorder ?

Those are just 2 seperate abilities that you can use instead of one, more advanced kits will have 3 abilities, might even go up to 5 perhaps, don't quote me on that cause I haven't seen any yet that have over 3.

I equipped this kit and it shows an icon for Vascular Regenerator but when I use it is it also using the Tricorder heal or is it just removing debuffs ? it doesn't appear to heal so just wondered how to get the tricorder icon on my powerbar as well as it only put one icon there. They must be activated seperatley as the Engineer Mk2 has shield and phaser turret so I guess there must be a way of choosing which to use /

When on the ground press 'P' to bring up your list of abilities, from there simply find and drag whatever kit abilities haven't shown up on you action bar by themselves.
