Does anyone know how the music player works? Does it work with Windows Media Player? I'd like to play some music that is on my computer but it never works. How can I get it to play stuff?

You can select which application to use through the Options>Audio menu. Currently you can choose between iTunes and Winamp.

The in-game audio player itself can be opened by clicking on the inverted triangle symbol (lower right, near mini-map). Just look for the "Music Player" option.

Works fine for me, although WMP is not supported atm.

I hope they add support for WMP sometime. iTunes and Winamp are good enough, but I'd prefer not to have them installed.

yeah it's a nice option indeed, and what you suggested is a cool use of it!

Features like these are the small details that really improve the game without directly affecting gameplay. The character biography and captain's log features are in that category as well, at least for roleplayers.
