My understandign it that it can't. I haven't flown one yet, I believe they left saucer seperation out of the game.

I'm not sure how they'd work it since you could only control 1 part or the other.

Automation, like your away team, leave some of your B.O's behind, while you go to the Battle Bridge, or vice-versa.

I would not want that- the AI is horrible- would result in part of my Galaxy being destroyed fairly easily.

Then don't separate, but it does follow cannon, and would be cool to some people to hit a Vor'Cha from two sides.

After 15 seconds it would just respawn and zerg back in at full health/power with an alpha-strike. :p

You'd be engaging the enemy, and your AI section will be stuck through a rock firing while being invincible. Sounds good to me.
