Why are people complaining so much about day 1-4 downtime? This is nothing compared to half of the MMO starting issues. granted, it's not fully populated / live yet... but this really isn't enough to complain about. Heck, half of the MMOs I played at launch were down for half a day at a time.

This is nothing to cry about people... and to be expected.

ok that its you cant call this a head start, its been a joke, EVERY TIME i have been able to sit and play after either work or sleeping you bring the bloody thing down for another patch.
If after the proper launch tommorrow this is still the case i can tell you i wont be subbing with that kind of service.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

No point doing it "off peak" as the servers been running fine all day untill the US west coast logs on.
It can't handle the EU evening players and the afternoon US players at the same time.

I know theese things happen, the way it is being handled now is getting a bit annoying. No in game notice? Also can we please be told what you are actually doing? Is to to load issues? Updating content?

A bit more information and we might be a bit more understanding.

I can't believe it. Doing the Briar Patch - we all know how much of a pain that is - at the final stage defending the computer and they decide to do maintenance with no warning. This is really trying my patience now - I will stick with it because I love Star Trek but words fail me

The servers go down all the time, patches, maintenance but nothing so far seems to have been fixed.....can someone explain what Cryptic are actually doing? Because all that seems to happen is the server goes down and comes back up less stable than before with no less lag or rubber-banding and nothing fixed.

I personally wouldn't mind if they gave us some kind of notice and told us what they were fixing.
