AFAIK there isn't one. The skills increase your shield regen and/or resistance, but not your total shield. The only way to increase shield value is to buy/loot a better set of shields for your ship/captain. Your consoles can add ot your Shield Power rating too.
If your shields are dying too fast, get Reverse Shield Polarity and Emergency Power to Shields (BO skills), both of which will make even weak shields go a lot further.
and there is a Science OB you can get as a reward early in the game that has Shield Repair, a must for my Cruiser., plus Reverse Shield Polarity, and an Engineer with Hull Repair, and I do fine,..... just ....... need..... to get..... this thing........ to turn..............
There's engineering consoles that give a percent increase to your total shield capacity. I don't think you can get them until captain or admiral rank though.
Had a blue Mk IV in open beta of this, but it didn't add anything to max shields at all. I experimented tons with it, seeing if it was influencing shield value or shield setting value, and ultimately drew the conclusion that it wasn't functioning yet at all. Shame too, because 18% extra shields is incredible.
I don't mean to be rude but I just had a quick question related to shields that I didn't think deserved it's own thread and may be a stupid question but anyway, if I had two engineering officers who had emergency power to shields, would I be able to use them separately or would they share the same timer?
