If ANYONE played CO (I did for a few weeks before loosing interest and I was huge fan of the original paper rpg) then 100 times more (conservatively) will be playing this game! You KNOW the difference of the fan bases, we have explained it to you ad infinitum. Adjust your expectations to match reality and start doing your jobs!
i totally agree!

Yes, it is frustrating not being able to play a game you really like, but I am sure you'll get this to shine!

Ridiculous post this. A company cannot simply go out and spend capital investment on technology without the capital to buy it with. This is chicken and egg, the company needs the subscriptions and the resulting cash beofre it can invest and imporve its services. Some of you people need to get with the programme here and accept a dose of reality. The game needs support from both ends, the developer and us beofre it can be all it can be.

Cryptic, while you cant ignore the angry 'offline' bemoaning fanatics, loons here due to customer service - you can at least can heart in the fact that the overwealming majority of your mature subscribers understand just what you have achieved here and what hiccups we will all likely share in during the games inception. Downtime is a fact of life for a new mmorpg and lets face it the mature players who understand this and who are willing to work with you through the teething stage are the people who are likely to stick with the game long term and help fund its evolution - the raging idiots who leave offenseive messages in this forum will not stick it out anyway, so you wont be getting their subscription long term so who cares what they think - right? There shouldnt be any great loss as they are a shouty minority anyway. Congrats on the game and the service thus far.

I'd like an Excelsior/Constitution style bridge myself. The huge Galaxy bridge just feels out of place when you know you're supposed to be in a Constitution refit, but then your other option is the tutorial style bridge that looks like they started to try and make a Constitution style bridge, but got distracted halfway through and made the bridge on a 45 degree angled square instead of a circle.

EDIT: The Klingon bridges actually look pretty good (for being klingon anyway)... too bad they're still using federation crew to man their bridges though.
The Galaxy bridge is no where close to canon.

I find it a little hard to believe that you didn't expect this, either that, or just plainly you hoped and prayed the servers would hold...

Are you unable to check pre-order figures and key activations?
