Just like there is a cooldown on most tanking abilities for feds. Cooldowns aren't the problem. A fight with a klingon only lasts long if they are sure they will win. If they start loosing the pop evasive and run for it ASAP, cloak, and the return for another picnic on your arse. Fed vs. Fed is far different (the glitch happened during the EOB event, and there were no Klingon ships involved, so yes it was a bugged out power). I got several iterations of Fed vs. Fed 2v2. It was far more interesting than fighting Klingon who just de-cloak, drop DPS, then run away.

Fixed that for you.

Hold on, might have missed something, what/when/where will FvF take place?

No, it will just prevent you from camping fed rearends with your superior turn speed and actually MOVE AROUND for once. Sacrafice some DPS/Tank for the ability to get out fast seems fair to me. Sacrifice.

The whole idea of the BoP is high mobility and flexibility. You're basically saying you don't like that players know how to use their BoP and want that whole aspect of their gameplay nerfed without giving them an edge anywhere else. Why do you think we have Battle Cloak? it's not so Feds can kill us before our shields go down you know.

No, I don't like how people DON'T MOVE AROUND, actually. The strategy is decloak, use littlest amount of impulse and turret te enemy from pretty much a stationary position. Get in trouble, evasive on out, cloak and heal. It really isn't that people are using them properly, in fact just the opposite. A strafe run for a BoP in STO is akin to a fly following you around... except this fly has a .44 magnum.

Hit and run.. That's the BoP's game. What do you mean people don't move around? If you see a BoP moving slowly throw some debuffs/power drains, tractor him, get close and out of angle. A smart BoP captain will of course try to counter this and run away as soon as they lose the advantage. That's the entire BoP game. They can hit hard and fast, but are screwed if they lose the advantage and can't get away. Playing a BoP to T4 in beta I can think of several ways to screw BoPs over as a fed.

Try to think of strategies instead of nerfs sometime.

In T2, there is little to screw them over. Tractor doesn't stop an evasive combo at all at T2, and sensors for finding cloaks is really pointless since most klings decloak out of its range.

Get some science officers who know how to use sensor scan, or target engines, or any of the numerous ways to snare and screw a BoP guy. A BoP can't have a counter to everything, they can only counter a few things at lower tiers. I know for a fact it can be done because I played against feds in a BoP, and I know what clever captains can do to me.

Only played a few t2 games so far, won most, not really convinced klings are unstoppable, I do notice however there's little team support fed side I outheal the damage feds do half the time, with more damage than all but escorts(even beaten some escorts in damage), I use a sci ship.

Kind of annoys when they whine in team chat or zone "klings are OP" when they've done 0 healing and less damage than me, but I'll see if it changes.

I'm not convinced klings are super buffed merely feds don't know what they're doing yet, may change when I've done like 30matches so far is kinda even.
