OK so I pre-ordered the boxed CE of STO almost two months ago. Now I checked the status of my order and it says cancelled. I called and am being told that the order had to be cancelled due to "limited bonus" and could not honor the pre-order bonus code. So instead THEY decided to ship (they have already shipped before talking to me) the STANDARD RETAIL GAME!
I mean A HUGE WTF?
Not only am I not getting the codes that I pre-ordered for MONTHS AGO they saw fit to replace my CE edition with standard edition instead of emailing to inform me. THAT'S RIGHT! NO EMAIL! They did not even contact me through email on the change to my order and still billed me. What's worse is the snide behaviour towards customers from GameStops CSR's (don't even get me started there enough to make you need blood pressure medicine)

Here's the deal Cryptic. It DOES fall on you & your publisher to fix this.
I called to check on mine earlier today and everything was fine with my order. They arent staying open for the 12 am thing but they did not say anything about me not getting what I ordered. They even quoted me the correct price. Maybe you should contact Gamestop HQ instead of Cryptic to find out what the problem is.
I'm sorry to hear that. I just checked my order and it still says it's the CE edition. I also came home to a message on my voicemail stating that my order for the CE edition, and it specifically said Collector's Edition of Star Trek Online, will be arriving tomorrow morning, (Feb. 2).
I hope that's correct... guess I'll find out when I go to the store to get it during lunch tomorrow.
For what it's worth, I ordered online but selected the pick up at XYZ store option.
