I love fleet actions and enjoy re-playing them, so I think a rank/level bracket is a great idea, like others mentioned. Fleet actions are good for departing from the boring-ass patrols. :-/

If you've got Lt.Cdr. guys farming SB24, don't get angry, feel sorry for them.

Then activate your map and switch instances.

I'll say to them the same thing I say to sub-level 80 people who get fancy items in WoW.

Was in SB24 earlier, still in light cruiser. Came first place with 1286 points. Second place was about 670. There were two T2 cruisers in there and a T2 escort (noted them names before things kicked off), highest score from them was 400-odd.

If we let all the overequipped-but-gormless types go in there, it makes the underequipped-but-clued-in little people feel better when they completely outperform them. :p

Heck knows there aren't any other feel-good victories for people until post level 16.


Let's assume we are going to see Starbase 24 capped. Henceforth, compromise:

Rather than a level limit/bracket, enforce a gear and/or ship and/or skills tier limit/bracket. This allows people to go back and replay Starbase 24 with friends or if they want to waste a bit of time in there or just hang out with teh nubbies ( ); but it still prevents them from having the crazy-ass advantages of like, flying in with a Sovereign using Mark VII gear with uber skillz.

Win-win?

Wow Delazure have you posted a positive post anywhere on these forums? I see your name pop up all over and not once has it not be negative.

You seem really unhappy with this game, i mean really unhappy. as in i picture that when you go to bed at night you just think of more things you donít like that you can post about in the morning.

The game has issues for sure. I see great potential here but issues too.

I've managed to win 5-6 SB24 missions a day at least since Lt5-8 never had a problem with any LT C levels coming in. Besides. if you want gear for an alt this is the way to get them started. Don't like it? Change instance.
