I purchased my ddigital deluxe preorder from Steam. All ok, went through beta and headstart, but have not received any retail key of the game yet.
I have sent a message to Steam Support but no answer yet.
Where is my retail key????
I want my retail key so that I can use the items i was promised RIGHT NOW, when the game is fresh out and has that new start unique feeling. If I receive it too late is like going to college at 60 yo. You still study but miss the fun of a 20 yo student (chix and stuff.. you know..)
I think we'll get a new game come up for Star Trek when it releases, as the current one actually says "Star Trek - Beta" (which will also mean unnecessarily re-downloading the client, but they've already pulled that trick with the last patch).
I haven't started steam up since it forced me to re-download the entire client for no reason at all.
I want to play, not spend hours downloading. Certainly not just for the sake of an in game item that's probably going to be worthless in about a month... If I really have to I'll use steam one more time to activate the retail key but that's it as far as STO and steam goes.
Wouldnt it be nice if Steam would communicate and post information about the retail key and when we are getting it, instead of leaving us in the dark and letting us worry. If this is what the customer service is like, I will not pre-order from Steam again
