In a couple of weeks, that place will be a ghost town... How is that they looked all the ways to make it difficult for players but none of the bug reports we submitted...

I still haven't received a reply about the Swarmers attacking my team in the damn command center either.

With a comment like that you clearly have no concept of how sharp the NPC scaling curve is. So either you're ignorant of the threat generation, or you have some sort of MK XX setup I'm not privy to.

I Have been playing this game since beta. ME and my BoFs have top-notch gear. I spec for surface combat. Even I have issues when the scaling gets out of whack. And currently, 99% comes from taggers and I'm not sure if there's a de-scaling dynamic in the code.

I'm sure you can - when other taggers haven't come by, shot a Voth specialist or two, then bolted....

All this QQ about the people in the command center... I'm in there sometimes AFK but not to get any credit but doing something else and had to step away from my keyboard. I personally like doing the whole thing with or without others... sometimes its even better by yourself without others scaling up your capture point.
Sad like a true tagger. I don't say this to be accusatory, but rather to impress upon you the fact that it's a genuine concern.

I've noticed that it really depends on the instance as to how solo-able the capture points are, in some instances I can solo most of them, but in other instances I get my ass handed to me, it's almost as if those instances are running on elite difficulty.

There are times when it feels like the game thinks "You're doing too good, have a dose of I Win", and then ramping up like crazy.

On my main, who has full Dyson gear, and boffs with Omega Mk XII and MACO Mk XII, the Voth sometimes wipes the floor with me, and laughs at my corpse.

It's most likely the auto scaling being the culprit here. There is no one around, I go in and get insta gibbed. It could be taggers, but most likely it has to do with how the auto scaling works in the BZ. I -think- it has to do with how many players there are in the zone, and scales it depending on that, but I could be wrong.

I only do BZ with a team.

Every time I try to solo it, I start out doing well, but eventually I'll be clearing a zone, and someone will come over and stand near me, doing nothing. Nothing except increase the enemy count, since the zone now has to scale for two players. I just leave when that happens, but then someone else does it. It gets old.

So most likely there was someone else nearby, close enough to rescale that area, who you didn't see.

Solution: take several friends who are good at ground combat. With a full team we can handle the max-scaled areas.

Also, protip: grease anything with "medic" in its name first.

It only scales locally to the individual piece of the zone you are in currently. So someone walking through and shooting a medic JUST ONCE then leaving will force the scale. Deployables and security team will do it as well.

Truthfully the spots I run into trouble in the battle zones are those damned mini boss squads:
the dino squads that consist of 1 Rex and 2 to 4 Bio-Engineered Dankanasaur. I've seen a 3 PC team hammer on the Rex and the damn thing just won't go down, and they get ripped to shreds by the Danks.
The General and his Spec Ops team are worse; 5 man team hammering on them and it still took 3-5 minutes to kill the bugger.
Haven't run into the third mini boss yet.

Some thing else that irks me, but is a 'plays well with others' issue rather then an issue with the game, is when you and maybe a small squad take a point and as the dots explode this horde that did nothing sweep through and collect them all.
I've actually solo'd all 3 mini-bosses with my Eng main. Even that Voth General who runs around with his Spec-Ops gang. But I basically just bring my Jem'hadar and Borg Drone with me. Heals up the kazzoo and a ton of damage output. Add in mines and weapons malfunction, and suddenly mini-boss has no teeth.

As for solo-ing points? I have no problems doing artillery solo. Other than the transporter point, the artillery points are the easiest. With all of my characters. The only ones I usually have issue with are the cap and hold points (because they take too bloody long), and the gen deactivator points (because it'll be specialist specialist specialist medic specialist specialist HOLYCRAPMEDICSPEC-OPSDANKASAUR... etc etc). Short of that, the voth ground BZ is stupidly easy.

You have a 5 man team, you can roflstompfacerollkeyboardsmash the entire zone. With ease.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.
Tired of Wasting EC and Time trying to get Superior Romulan Operative BOffs? Here's a cheap and easy way to get them, with an almost 100% chance of success.

Then I was partially right. But I think they need to implement a timer before it starts to auto scale, like say 20-30 seconds. That would most likely mean that the taggers can run through, tag their targets, and leave without it scaling it up...
