This is awesome to know, since I ended up ordering a DDE copy and this seemed to be one of the better ship mods that were being offered in pre-order packs.

Wish I had know about that item before I brought mine from Gamestop. Then again, I get all the other nice goodies. Maybe I should just buy an extra DDE version.

Tactical Console Slot, it's Blue, and it'll target anything within what I believe is its range of 5km, on attack settings (100 power) it hits the hull for 90-100, and one shots any annoying object floating at you.

Sounds like it is something we all need on our ships. I know in T3 those boarding parties start to suck.

I think it takes up a tactical console slot, not a weapons slot.

Fires in a 360 degree arc.
Very short range.
Does 45 plasma damage.
Goes in the tactical console slot (not a weapons slot).

Overall a great bonus item that is indeed handy long term, as opposed to basic guns or armor that you can get better with drops by level 5 or 6.

Sweet, glad it goes in the tactical console... as a Science ship, I haven't found a single Tactical Console drop in any single mission... but that's another rant for another thread.
