cool, does it make a pysichal appearance onto the ship? or do we have to pretend its there.

It will shoot at enemy ships if they are close enough

However don't count on it to lower shields or anything since it only does 45 damage

Ironically if you get close enough to another ship for this thing to start shooting at it the little bit of damage it does might be enough to have that ship blow up on you. I'd almost prefer this thing -not- shoot at a proper ship, but that's a very minor nitpick all things considered.

Per character. Have all rewards on main, joined trill and fed klingon. Constitution class, with red matter (another semi useful item) and the turret. But turret takes the cake for usefulness. As Brits would say (hope I use it right) It's bloody brilliant.

Even if it's limited to one per character it should be easy enough to transfer it around to any ship you're currently flying.

Hmm I hope the red matter cap is at least close to that useful. I wonder if you can get a similar item as a rare drop. I'd have to eat my words about not buying anything in the C-store if they made that thing available in the C-store for a couple bucks.

It's pretty good, a friend has 3 foward cannons on his escort, and when he did rapid fire with the red matter capacitor, the shields on the enemy just went gone in a heartbeat. Its only 6 seconds, but in attack mode, it hits pretty damn hard.
