While this is nice to hear.... its kind of a "Duh" moment for Cryptic. Those of us in beta have been telling them for weeks that they needed to increase capacity. So any pains experienced during this week should be not be written off as "launch pains". They've known about this problem for some time, the fact it wasn't fixed before launch shows they still have much to learn when releasing an MMO.
I am chalking up the delay to the pipeline new hardware has to go through to reach them. I want to stay as positive as I can.
p.s. I remember WoW had a moment like this at its beginning. They had the hardware on order but it took longer than anticipated to get to them.
Good to hear. And today the servers have been great I must say. I was half expecting the whole thing to fold but looks like the downtime you took over the past couple of days for maintenance has really paid off.
