I want to play this game but I am not sure if I should even bother making the investment with my current laptop.

Its a Toshiba Satellite L355D with
AMD Turion X2 RM-72 dual core processor
ATI Radeon 3100 graphics
4gb RAM
Running on Windows Vista

Thanks for taking the time to answer

Not with that graphics card. rest of the system looks ok. but youll be playing the game at 10-15 fps on low-medium settings with it.

Well it is a shared card which could indeed make it hard, but not unplayable I think.

I operate from a laptop as well

Core 2 duo t6400 2.o Ghz
4 gig ram
ATI mobility 4330 512mb

So my good point is I have a seprate gfx card still i think your can work, but no garuntee

I say go for it. I'm running STO on a Gateway MX 7535 with 256mb video memory. She can only get as high as 1.5gb memory (500mb integrated). Game runs fine on a low setting (I keep characters maxed, dropped everything else) and the game still plays and looks great. You have more than enough RAM to handle this game and throw toward video memory.
