I played all morning, somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 hours. (its my day off, so nyah!)
I logged out of the game to run a couple errands and such. I came back to it this evening, and played for maybe an hour and the freezing started.

I have opened the case, blown out any dirt, checked my temperatures using Ntune (nothing hot). Restared the program, and the computer multiple times.

Just started tonight. (2/2/10) Beta and headstart aside from the downtimes was fine.

System specs:
Pentium D 3.4ghz
2 gigs ram
7600 Gt (256mb) graphics.
Windows XP pro
over 100gb free on HDD

Not sure what could be causing this issue, anyone have any ideas?

I've turned the graphics down to "garbage" mode, and I'm running it windowed now, so I can recover from the freezes earlier, it is frozen in the background as I type this.

Well, it wasn't the software, or the drivers........

I have a shiney new gt240 now.......

9 capacitors on the 7600gt, 6 popped, with another bulging pretty well. Can you say hardware error?

thanks for the input though.
